Today was our annual Church Picnic. So after the service, we drove over to Ms. Connie’s house for an afternoon of fun.
Because our children have turned into little fish this summer, I spent most of the afternoon by the pool. It was the perfect location to check out some pretty crazy diving board tricks.
Christian was excited to join in on the fun too.
It was so fun to see everyone having a great time cooling off.
I am also a huge fan of church picnics because of the “picnic” part. The wonderful people of our church sure know how to cook up some pretty amazing food.
Speaking of wonderful people, here are a few that I captured pictures of…
Poolside popsicles are always a great treat!
Yup, it was a pretty great afternoon. Good conversations were made, volleyball games were played and the sweet fellowship of our wonderful church was present everywhere. As I mentioned before, most of my time was spent poolside. I watched our kids tirelessly enjoy swimming with their friends. Ellee learned how to flip underwater and this was her best impression of a shark. Pretty good, if you ask me.
A huge thanks to everyone who participated in making this afternoon incredibly special. Another huge thanks to Ms. Connie for opening up her beautiful home for all of us to enjoy!
